Place {thought} Story is a public forum for authentic expression.

It is premised upon the notion that the places we inhabit, the ideas we conjure and the interactions we have with one another are filled with truth, beauty, nuance and vulnerability that so rarely get expressed in social media.

place can encompass

  • meditations upon noteworthy destinations and our experience with them
  • celebrations of natural beauty, geography and culture
  • suggestions, tips and resources for further exploration

thought can include

  • well-informed and well-reasoned argument
  • provocative but polite prose with a point
  • essays that generate questions, educate and inspire

story can be

  • fiction, creative nonfiction, fictionalized memoir
  • raw, authentic narrative without a sugar coat
  • stories that will make you nod your head, smile and maybe even cry
